Events at Elmer's (Book Now)

One of our most important purposes is to be venue for community events. We welcome and host many kinds of gatherings! If you are looking to host an event during restaurant hours (Friday to Monday from 7am - 2pm) please reach out to Wicked Good Cafe directly at 413-628-4003 or thewickedgoodcafe@gmail.com.

Elmer's Community Center Events 

Board members and stewards of the nonprofit host fundraisers and events for the community. Past examples include Fall Festival food and beer garden, art openings, concerts, art nights and Friday Cafes (before the restaurant opened.) Check the events calendar below to see what is going on, and sign up for our email list to get updates about what we're hosting! 

Events Hosted By Community For Community

Do you have an idea for an open mic, a knitting circle, a workshop or a book club? If you are hosting an event that is free and open to the public, there is no charge to use the space! However, we DO need to find a community steward or board member able to open the building for you. Fill out the booking form below to see what's possible. If you think you might want to be a frequent host of pubic events at Elmer's, sign up to become a Community Steward

Private Events

If you've ever dreamed of hosting your birthday party, rehearsal dinner or retirement party at Elmer's, now's your chance! We have space for up to 65 people. The rental fee below is for access to the building only - you provide food and drinks, set up and clean up after yourself. There are no requirements you to work with particular vendors, but Wicked Good Cafe makes great food, and they are open to catering inquiries! The cost for private event rentals is: 

  • Up to 4 hours = $125 

  • More than 4 hours = $250

  • If you're a member, you receive a 10% discount

 

Fees for Private Fundraisers

  • Elmer's loves to support other good causes. We do our best to keep our prices low for everyone and hope that the regular private rental even rental fees (see above) are not prohibitive. If your annual budget is more than $50,00 the regular private event rates apply.

  • For nonprofits and charitable groups with budgets less than $50,000, we ask that you pay the $50 deposit, and then 10% of your fundraiser earnings up to the regular rental fee. Sample fees below for nonprofits in this category: 

    • $500 fundraising revenue or less - full cost to rent is $50 deposit​

    • Half day event (regularly $125) with $1000 in revenue - cost to rent is $50 deposit plus an additional $50 (totaling 10% of revenue / $100)

    • Half day event with $5000 in revenue - cost to rent is $50 deposit + $75 = $125 (regular rental rate)
